For this kitchen renovation we wanted wide plank wood flooring with some character. Among the options were a wide selection of very nice engineered wood flooring that had the look we wanted but lacked the lasting durability that a kitchen floor demands. We were given the opportunity to go with this incredible reclaimed white oak character grade wood, some of which is from an old Paper mill in Downingtown that was torn down. The flooring company that installed the floors (Vintage Flooring) pieced the floor together like an artist creating a masterpiece. The end product looks better than we had imagined and captures the desired look and style to a tee!
