Iconic Walter Durham home gets a new look…..

The existing breakfast nook was another important area of the kitchen. Adding base cabinetry and raising the sill height would have sacrificed a great deal of natural light. Instead, the floor to ceiling windows were replaced and we designed and fabricated a custom white oak banquette for extra seating.

The existing kitchen had a false sill that covered the bottom portion of the window so that they could put base cabinets there. We opened this up and extended the new marble countertops into the deep window well.
